The Goddess Lakshmi ~ Sharing the Harvest of Abundance

This year in the Southern Hemisphere February the 4th is the halfway point between the summer solstice and the autumn equinox.

It is a time of gratitude and celebration, as we honour the transition from Summer to Autumn and give thanks for the abundance that Mother Earth has provided us.

As Autumn approaches we are reminded of the cyclical impermanence of life.  We harvest the bounty of the warmer months and begin to prepare for the coming winter.

Within the Path of the Sacred Feminine we explore the season through the mythology of the goddess Lakshmi and the nurturing, abundance that she embodies.

We gather together beneath the glow of the sun to share food and blessings and enjoy the last of the summer evenings warmth.

By sharing our blessings with others, we become channels of abundance, creating positive ripples throughout our life and community.

True abundance encompasses more than just material possessions. The goddess reminds us that abundance also lies in the intangible blessings we receive, such as love, relationships, health, and knowledge.

Abundance is not a limited or scarce commodity, but a continuous flow that can be tapped into by aligning with the feminine cycles of nature and expressing gratitude for our blessings.

This seasonal celebration encourages us to acknowledge and express gratitude for the abundance and simple joys that we encounter daily, whether it be a loving gesture from a friend, a beautiful sunset, or the taste of freshly harvested fruits.

Allow yourself space to sit in quiet solitude, offer blessings to the earth goddess and appreciate the blessings that surround you.

💖✨

love + blessings,
