Whether it’s a creative dose before yoga, or a dreaming dose at bedtime I love how ceremonial cacao brings magic to my daily life.
For this dream time potion I infused Chamomile, Jasmine and Lavender flowers with the milk before preparing the cacao.
I like to drink this mix just before my evening meditation and going to sleep as it calms the body while allowing the mind to remain open and receptive.
I tried a few different ceremonial grade cacao’s and the Cacao Collective was my absolute favourite for ethical reasons, taste, convenience and value.

“The most important aspect of this recipe is your intention, Sweet Dreams”
Ceremonial Cacao Sweet Dreams Blend
Makes: 1 Serve
The Ingredients
250ml of Almond Milk
1 Tablespoon of dried Chamomile Flowers
1 Teaspoon of dried Jasmine Flowers
A small pinch of dried Lavender Flowers
15grams of Ceremonial Cacao
Optional** 1 Tablespoon of pure Maple Surup
The Method – Could it get any simpler?
First infuse the almond milk with the dried flowers, letting the milk simmer softly in the pan for around 7 minutes on a low heat before straining off the flowers and reserving the milk.
I like to put the used flowers back out into my garden to return hem to the hshdhxb
I then put the milk back in the pan and add a 15 gram dose of my Cacao Collective Ceremonial Cacao. Make sure to keep the heat low so as not to overheat the cacao and never let the milk reach boiling point.
Stirring gently this is where I add in my intentions to the mix, focusing my attention and visualising a night of gentle rest filled with sweet dreams.
After about a few minutes the cacao should be fully melted into the milk.
Blend for 30 seconds before drinking for a frothy, creamy cacao.
**If you like your cacao sweet add 1 TBS of pure maple syrup before blending.
As with all my recipes you can alter the quantities of everything to your own taste.
Bon Appétit!
